Hope you enjoy and feel free to get into contact if you have any questions
ABOUT JACKIE
Drawn to botanical form and nature; Jacqueline's aesthetic is influenced by the imperfect natural beauty of flowers, leaves, pods, and feathers and are often complemented by the odd sparkling gemstone creating delicate jewellery.
EXHIBITION WORK
LOCO-COMMOTION : A silver table train of condiment holders, inspired by seed, pods and movement and designed to move along the table on its own set of miniature wheels.

The seed (the bulbous body of the salt) travels (wheels) via wind and air, sets, the flower then emerges (simple automation from the wheels to the flower). Loco-commotion encourages the diner to ‘play’, hopefully engaging conversation at the dinner table should your guest be a tad what boring!
Loco-Commotion has won several design awards and is only exhibited by gallery request. This is the first of five sets ever made and is no longer for sale
LOCO-CHESS : Designed and made for Goldsmith’s Exhibition 2012. A silver organic chess set. 32 handmade characters with automated elements and wheels. Whilst the Pawn has its own built in moving helicopter blades (chess is a war strategic game) the King extends his crown (the largest piece on the board) and the Queen spins her crown from her own built in crank. Each of the 32 pieces has its own individual movement and statement i.e. The Pawn opens on a pivot and reads “TO SERVE AND SACRIFICE”.
Loco-Chess has won several design awards and is only exhibited by gallery request. This is the first of five sets ever made and is no longer for sale.
POD CAST : Three condiment holders. Pod-cast consists of a salt, pepper and oil in fine bone china Pod-Cast, on silver root ball feet. Emerging silver flowers are part of the cork bung.

Pod-cast is the first of five sets ever made and is no longer for sale.
Meals on Wheels : Once again based on movement, the salt, pepper, egg cup and interlocking spoon moves around the table on a silver tray on wheels.
Designed and made for the V&A’s British Design Season British Design 1948-2012: Innovation in the Modern Age.
The work bears the Diamond Jubilee commemorative hallmark which was struck only during 2012, alongside the standard 2012 UK hallmarks, making these objects historically significant and collectable.
Meals on Wheels is not for sale.
